Budo Marathon

Dear all

For approx. one year I have prepared a new type of event for the world of Martial Arts. The result was presented at a press conference / reception i my Danish dojo, yesterday, August 13th.

Together with a small team, I have created a Martial Arts Event with 24 hours of training – non stop!

The event will take place in the heart of Denmark on November 5th – 6th this year.

A 24h Budo Marathon is the ultimate performance, but less participation is also possible. For example, the TEAM Budo Marathon is an option, where three members share the training sessions between them. Also a 1/2 (12 hours) and 1/4 Budo Marathon (6 hours) is possible. There has also been created a set of rules, allowing people to have a certain number of breaks.

The Instructor Team has been put together from different styles and also different federations. However, 7 out of 11 instructors are members of WEBBS.

This email is to inform you about the event – and also to invite you/your members to participate. I am not sure to have room for more Ju-Jitsu instructors for this event. But you/your members are more than welcome to participate in the Budo Marathon.I would appreciate, if you would help me to spread the information regarding this new type of event. Many things will be done differently from other seminars and camps – and I dohave extra ideas for the future, if the event is going to be succesfull.Newspapers in Denmark are already interested in covering the event in November, and TV stations might follow. An official website has been made for the event. Here you can get all informations regarding the event. However, if you have any questions what so ever, please do not hesitate to contact me! Furthermore I might be able to assist you regarding transportation form the nearest Airport (Billund Airport), if you or any of your members would like to come.

First of all I would like you to take a look at the official website for more information:

As mentioned above, please do not hesitate to contact me regarding the Budo Marathon!

Best regards
